I love the white, black, and red design of the Quora user interface. It puts me in mind of the adage about the colors appropriate in books of an earlier age: white for the Russian snows, black for the fertile earth, red for the blood of Christ.
But seeing the tiny Quora iPhone frame in the midst of a sea of black on my iPad is growing tiresome. It feels, more than anything, like glaucoma (I should know). The alternative, hitting the 2X button, gives me giant, blocky letters to goggle at, more like something the homeless guy holds up alongside the offramp than anything I would read over my morning coffee.
